It is incredible what young people can achieve once they realise their true potential. Take example of the young executives in the Cytron Technologies who have brought ground-breaking contribution and innovation in the world of ICT and education.

It was started in 2003 by a coDevelopment Round Table - Employmentmmon group of engineering students who joined the robotics club and represented their university in an Asia-Pacific robotic competition. Equipped with passion and dream, Tan Eng Tong and his team built Rero. It was finally launched in 2014 after four years of research and development. It is the ASEAN’s first educational robotic kit contributed from young people for students and the beauty of learning.

Rero was created with the aim of providing opportunities for everyone to gain knowledge from the comprehensible robotic kits and experiences in the robotics revolution. In this ONE robotic kit, children and young people will get all the basic components that they need to build a robot, such as the controller, sensors and actuators, plus other additional parts. With this kit, everyone does not need to go through the long and tedious process of building a robot from scratch.  In fact, with this modular design, everyone can easily assemble the parts in as many configurations as can possibly think of. With Rero innovation, young people can learn on how to build a robot without having to master a complex programming language. For more information and jaw-dropping facts, do check the attached Rero Booklet or visit their website at http://www.rero.io/

We, at the World Assembly of Youth (WAY), always deem that young people are talented and creative. As we show youth’s contribution through sharing, we welcome every brilliant idea and inspiring innovation from the young people out there. Kindly send them via email at[email protected] so that we can share them for the betterment of the society.
